  • Oak Point is all about lifestyle and friendships. Our homeowner surveys show that the leading reason people move to Oak Point is for the active or diverse lifestyle. Once here, the homeowners cherish their many new friendships.
  • Oak Point is designed to provide exceptional value. Our home prices and monthly expenses are substantially lower than other 55+ communities in the region. In addition, our homes are Energy Star rated and built for maintenance free living.
  • Community Amenities offered at Oak Point include the 35,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse with Grand Ballroom (where performances and events are held), parlor, meeting rooms, crafts room, library, game room, billiards rooms and full fitness center complete with gymnasium and indoor pool. Outdoor amenities include walking trails, biking paths, two heated swimming pools, tennis courts, bocce courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes and putting green. The use of the community amenities is included in the monthly fee.
  • Activities offered at Oak Point span a wide range of interests, including various sports groups (tennis, yoga, golf, billiards, bocce, fitness classes and more), social clubs, gaming groups (billiards, cards, mahjong, bingo and more), crafts groups, a drama club, a chorus group and more. Social Directors are on staff to help organize activities within the community as well as group excursions to cultural, sporting and recreational events. The monthly newsletter and the bulletin board (both located near the Social Director’s Office) provide a good overview of the many activities and excursions offered each month.
  • Oak Point is not a condominium community. it is a manufactured housing community that has:
    • individual homes set on quarter acre lots (instead of attached townhouses that share walls)
    • a monthly fee paid to Oak Point (instead of condominium fees paid to an association plus real estate taxes paid to the town).
  • Homes Sites at Oak Point are a quarter acre and larger and are denoted by lease lines that are at least 20 feet from the outside walls of each house (so that houses are at least 40 feet apart). The entire Oak Point property is owned by Oak Point and each homeowner has a Home Site Agreement for the designated leased area. The lease lines are shown on the plans in the sales office, but it is important to note that the area within the lease line may include common driveways, slopes, utility boxes, trees, walls, fences, etc. Visiting a completed lot is the best way to see the actual characteristics of the lot.
  • Pets are welcome at Oak Point, but are limited to pets that live inside the home and do not disturb the peace and quiet of others.
  • Available Homes at Oak Point fall into three categories:
New Homes built based on your selections of options and colors which typically takes 3-4 months to deliver.
“Spec” Homes are also often available. These are new homes that Oak Point has decided to build and offer for immediate occupancy.
Re-Sale Homes being offered by current Oak Point residents. These homes may be available through the Oak Point Sales Office, through another broker or directly from the current owner.

Please visit the Oak Point Sales Office to learn more about available homes.
